Too many fundraises, not enough returns: The story of African tech
The Pan-African View of Tech Returns and Exits panel discussed the challenges African startups face in achieving liquidity events. In 2023, only 30 exits were recorded across Africa, compared to 83 in Southeast Asia and 178 in Japan.
