Airtel breaks ground on 44MW East Africa’s largest data centre in Nairobi

Airtel Africa has commenced construction of its 44MW hyperscale data centre, Nxtra, in Tatu City, Nairobi. The Tatu City project is set to become the largest single data centre in East Africa, scheduled to go live in Q1 2027.
