Cyberattacks hit 42M web incidents in H1 2025

Kaspersky reported a 66% increase in password-stealer infections and a 53% rise in spyware attacks in Nigeria during the first half of 2025. The sub-Saharan region experienced 42.4 million web attacks and 95.6 million device-based threats in the same period.
