Countdown to Africa Tech Festival
- Africa Tech Festival 2026 will be held from November 16 to 19 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
- The festival will feature over 400 speakers and is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees.
- AI infrastructure in Africa is limited, with the continent hosting only about 1% of the world's data centers.
The Africa Tech Festival 2026 presents a crucial opportunity for stakeholders to address the significant gaps in AI and data center infrastructure in Africa. The emphasis on collaboration between government and business is essential for unlocking potential investments and fostering job creation. However, the festival's success will ultimately depend on its ability to translate discussions into concrete commitments and actions.
