About Dosy

Summary of the business

Dosy is a tech-based platform that empowers women in Egypt and the MENA region through safe, eco-friendly mobility. We connect women with female instructors to learn how to ride scooters and bicycles—skills that promote independence, confidence, and employment opportunities.

Our platform primarily serves women aged 18 to 45 who are seeking affordable and flexible transportation solutions, as well as those looking for additional income by becoming instructors or delivery riders. Through our user-friendly website and mobile app, women can book training sessions at their preferred time and location, making the process convenient and accessible.

What makes Dosy unique is our women-only network and our integrated ecosystem. We don’t just teach women to ride—we also offer services like maintenance support, self-defense training, and connections to purchase electric scooters, bicycles, and spare parts. This holistic approach supports both safety and sustainability.

Our mission is to empower women through mobility by reducing gender-based barriers in transportation, improving access to jobs, and promoting environmentally conscious travel. We aim to create job opportunities for 1 million women in the micro-mobility sector while tackling social, economic, and environmental challenges.

With over 7,000 customers and 300 trained instructors, Dosy is transforming how women move, work, and thrive—one ride at a time.
